Steins;Gate, called by many as a masterpiece in the world of anime, and believe me, they are right. Based on MyAnimeList website, this story is about A self-proclaimed mad scientist Rintarou Okabe rents out a room in a rickety old building in Akihabara, where he indulges himself in his hobby of inventing prospective ''future gadgets'' with fellow lab members: Mayuri Shiina, his air-headed childhood friend, and Hashida Itaru, a perverted hacker nicknamed ''Daru". The gang seemed to enjoy their lives until they are accidentally create a time machine. A real time machine. Sounds crazy right, but at the same time, it is interesting. the creation of the time machine marks the beginning of their adventure, where they meet their friends, their enemies, their fates. It is also the beginning of their happiness and also misery, especially for the main protagonist, okabe or his nicknamed ''Hououin Kyouma''.

Now, I will start my assessment on this anime by analyzing their plot. This anime is based on the visual novel game by the same name. So, it means that this story actually has many endings, happy endings and vice versa. This anime take the route of true ending, whether it is a happy ending or not, go watch yourself. The story is really well-written, kudos to the author of the visual novel. It has great and shocking exposition which happened in the first episode. After that, it has several episodes that act as a build up for the climax of the story. The climax of this story is nothing but magnificent. Once you reach the halfway of this show, you will binge-watching until the finale of this anime. This is the kind of the story where the more episodes you watch, the more you want to know and you will get more plot twist. As the plot of this show, I will gladly give them 10 out of 10, not because it is perfect, but because this show exceed my expectation in terms of the plot.

In terms of the animation of this anime, to be honest, it is really good. This anime is produced by White Fox, which is famous for producing famous animes like Akame ga Kill and ReZero. But you can't watch this anime while expecting the animation to be beautiful and exceptional like Violet Evergarden that was produced by Kyoto Animation. In terms of animation, of course the latter is superior but right now, we are not comparing Steins;Gate with other animes, and that's why I said the animation of this show is really good. The design of the characters is nice and attractive to me, at least. It is not excessive or too simple, because the art and colour is actually more realistic compared to other generic animes. For the animation, I will give 8 out of 10 because the anumation is really good but not exceptional.

Continue to the sound or the music of this show, It has nice and catchy opening and ending. The opening of this anime is ''Hacking to the gate" performed by Kanako Itou. The ending of this anime is "Sky Clad no Kanokusha" also performed by Kanako Itou. I realized that both of this song is created for the sole purpose, to serve Steins;Gate, and nothing else. The lyrics and music really synchronized with the show. It fits each other. As for the background music in this anime, even though it lacks in most times, it will appears only at the right time that will hype you up. For this part, I will give 8 out of 10 because the lacks of background music in this show.

Now, the characters in this show is the best part of this show. To begin with, all of characters are fantastic. They have unique traits that will make you remember them even after the show ends. They have their own traits that differentiate them from other anime characters that you know. For example, our main hero, Okabe claim that he himself is a mad scientist. I never know other main characters from other animes that called themselves a mad scientist. Other examples would be Daru that don't care if other people call him a pervert because he is aware that he is a pervert. I also love the character development in this show, especially Okabe. At first, he seems like a child in an adult body. But  after going through many events, he has mature so much that he realized every action has its own consequences. For the characters, I will give 10 out of 10 because I really love them.

In a nutshell, watching this anime is one of the best decision I have ever made in my life. It is because at first, when I saw the poster of this anime, I don't put high expectation because I never heard of this anime. I watched it because I am curious how this anime got high ratings from fans and critics. Thus, watching the first episode of this anime hooked me until the end. This is one of the few animes that I hope I will forget so I can watch it again and fell in love again with this show. For final score, I will give this show 9 out of 10.

Thank you for reading.

Last words from me,
EL PSY CONGROO
