Imagine be the strongest man in the world but no one acknowledge you, how's your feeling?. That's what our hero, Saitama has to face in this anime, One Punch Man. This is mainly due to his intention that just consider being a hero as a hobby. At first, he nearly give up with his life as a hero because he is bored that no monsters can withstand his power and has lost excitement to fight. But, his life changes completely when Genos, a cyborg that he once saved, asks to be his disciple. Together, they join the hero association in order to become certified hero that will be recognized for the deeds they do to the society. Along the way, maybe he will find someone that can give him the excitement he once felt and become popular in the process.

For the plot of this show, actually it is one of the most interesting compared to other superhero-based anime. In My Hero Academia, Midoriya wants to become the strongest hero so that he can surpass his idol, All Might. But in this show, Saitama just want to find someone strong enough that can fight him on equal terms. If you think the show will be boring, think again because you might be wrong. Even though most of the fight that Saitama appears will end in a few seconds, it is never boring, but vice versa. The best thing in this anime is the adventure of Saitama to become the hero that everyone acknowledge. It is like the adventure of Naruto to become the Hokage that everyone acknowledge, except that Saitama is already the strongest man ever lived. So, for the plot of this show, I will give 8.5 out of 10 because the plot about an overpowered man that becomes a hero as a hobby and wants to find enemies strong enough to fight him is just stand out compared to other anime.

Now, for the characters in this show, you just can't hate the main character, Saitama. In fact, you will sympathize with him because you will see how he struggles when facing people that underestimate him or people that didn't appreciate him at all. Not to mention, you will also sympathize with all monsters that fought Saitama, they are just unlucky. For me, the side characters that stand out in this show are Genos and Mumen Rider. Genos, a boy that lost everything because of a mad cyborg, grows up to become a man of vengeance with the help of Dr. Kuseno. but, after spending some time with Saitama, we can see his character development where he is starting to become a real hero, rather than spending his entire life to get revenge. As for Mumen Rider, he is a real hero, to me. He is an ordinary man, no extraordinary strength, psychic power, can't fly, or shoot laser. He is just a normal human being that want to help people around him in any way possible. He will find lost kitten or help an old man crossing the street. For the characters in this show, I will gladly give 9 out of 10 because I love how this show portray superheroes, where there are superheroes who pursue recognition, and superheroes that really want to contribute to the society.

For the animation in this show, the word 'masterpiece' sums up the animation for the show. For me who are no experts in terms of animation, it is flawless. This anime is produced by Madhouse, famous studio for producing high-quality anime such as Death Note and No Game No Life. One Punch Man is a type of anime that you will be craving for more once it ends. The animation in this show is at top notch, surpassing many expectations. Sadly, there are only 12 episodes for us to rewatch the show. ONE( One Punch Man creator) should be grateful that Madhouse produce his works, or else the result wouldn't be the same. The battles in this show between heroes and monsters are truly spectacular, you will not bored even though you will know Saitama is going to prevail at the end. For the animation in this show, surely I will give it 10 out of 10 because I am just falling in love with the animation in this show.

For the last part music and sound, I believe this show could have done better. The opening of the anime is "The Hero" performed by JAM Project while the ending is Hoshi "Yori Saki ni Mitsukete Ageru" performed by Hiroko Moriguchi. In terms of the opening, it is good? yes, it is the best?, no. But, the song really well-suited for the anime. When the song played in the battles, you will get goosebumps because you know it is going to be magnificent. The only letdown is the ending. I believe the ending could've been done better. The ending is forgettable for me, at least. For the music and sound, I will only give 8 out of 10 because the ending song really should've done better.

In a nutshell, I really love this anime. I will not get bored by One Punch Man. Every time I watch Saitama fights, I still get hyped by watching and laughed because it is still hilarious how he beat them in just one punch. I also love the characters like tatsumaki. Even though she is one of the strongest hero, she is still behaving like a child. I also love Mumen Rider. he is the embodiment of a genuine hero. He is a good example to other heroes that are stronger than him but not doing their job properly. So overall, I will score this anime 8.5 out of 10 because the show exceed my expectation when I first watch it and now I still love watching it.
